Nick Woltemade (24 years old), the German striker who cost her on Newcastle no less than 75 million euros, it would have its days numbered on St. James's Park, according to information published in the Island press.

Woltemade signed for the Red Devils six months ago, having been transferred from VfB Stuttgart to fill the void left in Eddie Howe's side's attacking department by the departure of Alexander Isak.
The amount spent by Newcastle to get the services of the German striker represented the biggest “score” that the club on St. James's Park ever took out of pocket for the purchase of a footballer, namely 75 million euros, for which the expectations of the player's performances were commensurate.
Nick Woltemade could leave Newcastle in the summer!
But it was an excellent start, with Woltemade managing to score four goals in his first five games for Newcastle in the Premier League, a performance that earned the German the status of undisputed starter in Eddie Howe's side for quite some time.
He also impressed with his style of play, in particular his outstanding ability to handle the ball at his feet, despite his height (1.98m), often being compared to the great Leo Messi.
However, of late, its numbers have dropped considerably. In the last nine championship matches, Woltemade failed to score and was gradually removed from the first 11 of the “cotofene”.
What's more, English journalists claim that the relationship between the player and coach Eddie Howe has deteriorated, which is why there have been more and more rumors about the German's possible departure from Newcastle in the summer after the end of the season.
Those from “GiveMeSport” confirmed these speculations, but specified that the Newcastle bosses are considering parting with Woltemade only if they recover a good part of the amount invested six months ago.
In other words, if the grouping on St. James's Park will receive an attractive offer, there is a very good chance that the German will leave. Otherwise, Woltemade will remain at Newcastle, a team with which he has a contract until 2031.

Woltemade, the main subject in the quarrel between Trippier and Gordon
Recently, the 24-year-old striker stepped back into the limelight, but it wasn't because of a spectacular goal or a dribble that brought the crowd to their feet.
He was the subject of a heated exchange between Kieran Trippier and Anthony Gordon on the pitch during Newcastle's 6-1 Champions League win at Qarabag.
In the extra time of the first half, Eddie Howe's team benefited from the second penalty, at which time the “cotofenes” were already leading 4-0. The first kick from the penalty spot was converted by Anthony Gordon, a goal that completed the Englishman's hat-trick.
Even so, Gordon still “arrested” the ball to execute, and in the end, he scored, making the score 5-0 and scoring his fourth goal of that match.
At the end of the first half, however, cameras caught a heated exchange between the Englishman and his compatriot, Kieran Trippier, who were clearly verbally at each other on the way to the booths. Trippier was initially thought to have blamed Gordon for not letting him execute, but this was not true.
It was Trippier himself who declared at the end of the game, for TNT Sports, the fact that he told Gordon to let Woltemade take the second penalty, precisely so that the German could feel the taste of the goal again, but the “decar” of Newcastle did not listen to him, and from here the exchange of words between the two started.
