Despite the frost, residents of Krasnoyarsk went out for Maslenitsa festivities in city venues. Today, February 21, the thermometer dropped to −21 °C, wind gusts reach 9 m/s.

From the very morning, there is a food fair in Serebryany Square, theatrical performances and performances by creative groups. On Lenin Street from 12 to 14, the folk ensemble of the Russian song “Siberian Dawns” delighted passers-by, and competitions, youth tests and master classes were organized for those interested.

A parade of Maslenitsa stuffed animals took place in the Solnechnaya Polyana park, and creative groups performed. The head of the Sovetsky district administration, Elena Lanina, personally treats guests to pancakes according to her own recipe.

In the village of Suvorovsky there is a fair, a family hockey tournament in felt boots, a competition for the best Maslenitsa doll, a large round dance and a procession.
