The match between Lighthouse and Dynamo it represented an opportunity for the ultras from Constanta to protest against the club's management, more precisely the president Gică Popescu, and the police. The Ultras from the Marine Lawn left the lawn in the 15th minute of the game.
After not singing in the first minutes of the match, as a sign of protest, the ultras of Farul continued to be in the center of attention. Shortly after the starting whistle they lit torches, which they brought into the stadium despite rigorous screening, and chanted and swore at law enforcement. There was also an altercation with the gendarmes before the start.
Then, around the 15th minute, some of the fans on the lawn left the stadium. And they never came back, and only a few spectators remained in that area, without the members of the Marine Lawn.
UPDATE 00:00 “Peluza Marină” claims to have left the Ovidiu stadium because of the abuses committed by the Gendarmerie
Peluza Marină claims that the protest has nothing to do with the club management, but with the Gendarmerie.
“The Lighthouse Marine Lawn categorically denies the rumors that appeared in the public space and picked up by certain publications, according to which we would have left the stadium lawn because of the club's management or because of the allocation of tickets for the visiting supporters in the entire Lawn 2. The reason that led to our decision is represented by the serious and repeated abuses committed by the Tomis Constanța Mobile Gendarmerie Group,” the ultras sent on Facebook.
Ultras of the Lighthouse, protest against the management at the match with Dinamo
Lighthouse supporters are angry at the management over the way they are being treated, alleging that opposing fans are getting better treatment.
They accused several episodes in which they suffered. At the match with FCSB, the Lighthouse gallery was taken out onto the field, while the champion's gallery was taken in front of the stadium, to take pictures with the favorites at the end of the match.
“It's like we're away,” complained some of the ultras who left the arena at the match with Dinamo. Along with the supporters on the lawn, some of the fans from the second stand also left.
Representatives of the fans discussed in several meetings with the management, reproaching them: “You take more care of the visiting fans, than of us. We are controlled to the blood, they are helped. And the law enforcement forces abuse.” But for the moment we have not yet reached a consensus.
