5 minutes after waking up – and the day starts easily: routine without coffee and rush

Many people think that to wake up refreshed, you need to immediately turn on motivational podcasts or do exercises. But in fact, 5 minutes of silence and simple movements are enough to gently “turn on” the body, relieve morning swelling and set yourself up for a calm, productive day without caffeine and an anxious to-do list in your head.

This morning routine is suitable even for those who woke up later than the alarm clock, feel heavy in the eyes or have a “wobbly” head. It does not require a mat or sportswear.

How to do immediately after waking up:

Belly breathing – 1 minute

Lie on your back, place your palm on your stomach. Inhale through your nose so that only your stomach rises. Exhale slowly through your mouth. This activates digestion and gently “starts up” the nervous system.

Raising knees to chest – 1 minute

Alternately pull your knees to your chest, hugging them with your arms. Do this smoothly, with breathing. Exercise massages the intestines, improves peristalsis and helps avoid bloating.

Cat stretch – 1 minute

Get on all fours. As you exhale, round your back up and lower your head. As you inhale, bend your back slightly downwards. The movements are slow, in rhythm with breathing. This relieves stiffness in the spine after sleep.

Facial lymphatic drainage – 1 minute

Using your fingertips, lightly stroke: from the chin to the ears, from the wings of the nose to the temples, from the center of the forehead to the temples. This removes morning swelling and “revitals” the skin without water or washing.

Pull up – 1 minute

Lie on your back, stretch your arms above your head. Stretch your head in one direction, your heels in the other. Feel how your whole body lengthens. This sets posture and lightness for the whole day.

Already on the first day you will notice that you wake up softer. And in a week, morning fatigue will disappear, and your face will look fresh.
