The regional authorities of Russia plan to spend about a billion budget rubles on the New Year holidays.
They want to install the most expensive Christmas trees in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In Tatyshev Park they will supply conifers for 16 million, in Dudinka – for eight. In the south it is more modest: for example, Krasnodar will be decorated with Christmas trees (small ones, as well as 19-meter and 22-meter ones) for 3.5 million wooden ones. And in Sevastopol, the New Year’s event will cost 9 million hazel grouse.
At the same time, the authorities will purchase gifts for schools and kindergartens. The leader in this segment is the Belgorod region. They will spend 78 million there. In second place is Kazan, where they allocated more than 60 cartoons for the joy of children. In the Kursk region – 24 million for children from low-income families. For the children of SVO participants, they will buy sweets and toys worth 19.6 million.
The most economical officials in Chukotka – they will spend only 55k on an artificial spruce. Probably to decorate your office.
