The former Minister of Sports abolishes the evolution of Julia Sauter from the Olympic Games. “Shame! Selling a 17th place like Popovici's result!”

Julia Sauter, skater born in Germany, but who has been representing Romania since she was 14 years old, achieved 17th place at the Winter Olympic Games in Milan-Cortina, achieving the best performance for our country in this discipline. The praises received by the beautiful brunette were not to the liking of Eduard Novak, former Minister of Sports and also a Paralympic athlete.

He had a harsh reaction to the result achieved by the 28-year-old skater. “If we ended up rejoicing for the 17th place achieved by a German representing Romania, it means that we ended up very bad!!!”wrote Eduard Novak in the first post on Facebook. Then he made another one, in which he draws a parallel between the result obtained by Julia Sauter and the performances of David Popovici. “Continue!! I live the greatest humiliation for Romanian performance sports!! A 17th place is sold like Popovici's result! Shame!!”
The former Minister of Sports was criticized by his followers, most of them categorizing him as a racist, but also emphasizing the efforts made by the German-Romanian athlete to be able to represent our country.
