In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, based on materials from the transport prosecutor's office, a criminal case has been initiated on the basis of fraud in the implementation of a national project. This was reported by the press service of the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office.

The Norilsk Transport Prosecutor's Office identified a violation during an inspection of the implementation of legislation during the implementation of the national project “Effective Transport System”.

It was established that in 2023, in order to fulfill the state contract for the construction of a coastal station, more than 100 million rubles were transferred to contractors as an advance. However, the work stipulated by the contract was not completed on time, and the customer did not receive a report on the funds spent.

As a result, based on the materials of the inspection by the supervisory agency, a criminal case was initiated under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud).

The progress and results of the criminal investigation are under the control of the transport prosecutor's office.
