A British entrepreneur has died in Thailand. Who was Quentin Griffiths?
The British entrepreneur was found dead on February 9 in a seaside town Pattaya. As the investigator told the BBC, Griffiths was alone in the apartment, which was locked from the inside, and there were no signs of forced entry. The autopsy did not reveal the involvement of third parties.
Police also said Griffiths was a party to two ongoing legal proceedings which may have been a source of stress for him.
Griffiths co-founded ASOS in 2000 in London with Nick Robertson, Andrew Reagan and Deborah Thorpe. The company's name originally meant “As Seen On Screen” – the store offered fashion inspired by the styles of film and television stars.

Over time, ASOS has evolved into a global e-commerce platform with hundreds of brands and its own clothing lines. At its peak, the company was valued at over £6 billion.
The company's largest shareholders include: Danish billionaire Anders Holch Povlsenowner of the concern Best-sellerand Mike Ashleyowner Frasers Group.
