Rostelecom installed almost 6,500 video surveillance cameras in apartments and private houses in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Khakassia and Tuva

In 2025, the Krasnoyarsk branch of Rostelecom completed a large-scale project to install smart video surveillance systems, implementing about 6,500 cameras. More than half of them were placed in private houses of residents of rural areas and in summer cottages, the rest – in city apartments.
Particular demand for the service is noted in Abakan and Chernogorsk in the Republic of Khakassia, as well as in Achinsk in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Modern cameras allow owners to monitor what is happening in the house or yard both in real time and in recording. Video in Full HD and HD quality is available from any device connected to the Internet. Prompt notifications about events are sent to the user’s smartphone in push notification format.
“Today, data security is one of the main values of digital services, and we guarantee their reliable protection by encrypting video and storing archives on Rostelecom’s own servers. In addition, our cameras are equipped with their own firmware, which provides protection against hacking. The client can be sure that his private video is reliably protected, and only he has access to it,” said Natalya Bazhenova, director of work with the mass segment of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Rostelecom.
