There are no grounds to suspend work on the first Polish nuclear power plant; the application and complaint of the complainant were dismissed – Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe (PEJ) announced the decision of the Supreme Administrative Court. She added that the court's ruling makes it possible to continue activities in accordance with the adopted schedule.


“The Supreme Administrative Court confirms: there are no grounds to suspend work at the first Polish nuclear power plant. The application and complaint of the complainant have been dismissed,” wrote PEJ on the X platform.
He added that the court found that the party complaining the decision based its application on premises that were not substantiated.
“The Supreme Administrative Court thus confirmed the importance of our investment for the country's energy security. The court's ruling allows us to continue our activities in accordance with the adopted schedule,” the company added.
The first nuclear power plant in Poland, built using AP1000 technology, is to be built in Lubiatowo-Kopalino in Pomerania. Its capacity will be 3,750 MW. Its operation is planned to begin in 2036 (PAP Biznes)
