Another 10 kg of drugs “in a jar”, unearthed in the file of three traffickers. The individuals were arrested

Following the remarkable activities carried out by the policemen of the Pitesti Organized Crime Brigade, together with the DIICOT-Pitesti Territorial Service prosecutors, a large amount of drugs, in crystalline and powder form, was also discovered.

It is about another 10 kilograms of a high-risk drug in the form of a crystalline substance, 500 grams of cocaine and a precision scale, buried by the people in question – according to the press office of IPJ Argeș.

In the images provided by the Police, you can see how the investigators dig up large jars (like those of pickles!), full of high-risk drugs.

Therefore, on Wednesday, the rights and liberties judge of the Pitesti Court ordered the preventive arrest of the three people aged 36, 39 and 45, for 30 days.

The action was carried out with the support of the policemen of the County Police Inspectorate

Initially, the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism – the Pitesti Territorial Service ordered the detention of 3 defendants, aged 36, 39 and 45, investigated for committing the crime of high-risk drug trafficking, in continuous form.

From the administered evidence it emerged that, between November 2025 and February 2026, the defendants procured, possessed and sold various quantities of high-risk drugs, 2 MMC, 2 CMC and cocaine, the 36-year-old defendant being a source of supply for the co-defendants.

Also, during yesterday, two of the defendants, aged 36 and 39, were caught in the act, in the municipality of Pitesti, while they were selling over 3 kilograms of crystalline substance 2 CMC, a high-risk drug.

“During the criminal investigation, more than 600 grams of prohibited substances, traded by the defendants, were seized, and following searches of their homes, more than 2 kilograms of cocaine, 70 grams of 2 CMC and 26 ecstasy tablets were identified and seized. In an attempt to prevent the finding of high-risk drugs, the defendants buried some of them. The market value of the drugs possessed and traded by the three defendants amounts to approximately 300,000 euros”, according to the Romanian Police.
