According to data collected by ItaMilRadar, it is currently heading towards the Middle East, among other places several F-22 Raptor fighters, about 36 F-16 Fighting Falcon machines, six Boeing E-3 Sentry early warning aircraft and a U-2 Dragon Lady reconnaissance plane. The portal emphasized that such a large concentration of American air forces in this region has never occurred before.

On Monday from Lakenheath Air Base in the United Kingdom 18 F-35A Lightning II fighters took offwhich headed to the Muwaffak Salti base in central Jordan. This facility, next to the Prince Sultan base in Saudi Arabia, became the main logistical support point for American tactical aircraft, even though the Jordanian authorities assured that they would not allow their airspace to be used to attack Iran.
