

On February 26 at 14.00, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation will hold a seminar on the topic “Psychosocial support in communities during crises and emergencies.”
The event will be held by a practical psychologist in educational institutions, trainer, supervisor, head of the department of methodological support of social work of the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Center for Social Services Natalya Astakhova.
At the webinar, participants will discuss effective methods of psychological support for children and adults in crisis situations and receive practical tools for working with communities during emergency events. They will also pay attention to developing stress resistance of specialists and providing a safe environment for victims.
Issues that will be addressed during the event:
- principles of psychosocial support for families in crisis;
- application of the “resource orientation” approach;
- basic stabilization tools for children and adults;
- basic tools for working with families during crises and emergencies;
- the importance of maintaining one's own professional resilience.
