The manager of the legendary Crimean park “Taigan” was torn to pieces by lions while cleaning the enclosure.
As Mash writes on the wave, Leocadia Perevalova worked there for about 18 years. This morning she went into the predators' enclosure to clean, but did not block the bolt between the two rooms. Leocadia's body was found by colleagues.
This is the third major emergency in Taigan over the past four years. In September 2021, a local tiger bit off part of a one-year-old visitor’s finger—for this, park director Oleg Zubkov was sentenced to 2.3 years in prison. And in November 2020, the lionesses of the nursery killed the lion cub of Philip Kirkorov.
