The construction of the Port of Poland is gaining momentum. The race to build the sleeves has begun

As stated in the announcement, “the tender settlement is planned by the Centralny Port Komunikacyjny company, implementing the Port Polska investment program, at the turn of 2026/2027.” Five contractors will be invited to the next stage – competitive dialogue.
International stakes and a crucial task. Six companies in the game
Both Polish and foreign companies are competing for the order. Those interested included: a consortium of the Polish company Sezo Invest and Singaporean Shinmaywa and FMT Sweden AB from Sweden, Albert Ziegler GmbH from Germany, Adelte Airport Technologies and TK Airport Solutions from Spain and the Polish branch of the Spanish company Comsa Instalaciones y Sistemas Industriales.
The selected contractor will equip the terminal with 92 passenger tunnels – 72 in the basic version and 20 in the optional version. These devices will enable direct passage from the terminal to the plane, improving the safety and comfort of travel. The scope of the contract will include: not only delivery, but also development of the executive design, production, assembly, commissioning and subsequent service after the opening of the airport.

For comparison, There are currently 27 passenger airports at Warsaw Chopin Airport, while the European giant – London-Heathrow – has over 130 of them. The New Port Polska will be designed from the very beginning with large-scale traffic in mind.
CPK would like to remind you that other key tenders are being carried out in parallel, including: on Baggage Handling System and material handling devices such as elevators, escalators and moving walks.
As part of the CPK investment, a central airport between Warsaw and Łódź and a high-speed rail network will be built. The airport will initially serve 34 million passengers a year, with the possibility of further expansion. According to the schedule, construction in the Baranów, Wiskitki and Teresin communes will start in 2026, certification is planned for 2031, and opening – in 2032 along with the first section of the Warsaw-Port Polska-Łódź HSR. The estimated cost of the entire project by 2032 is PLN 131.7 billion.
