Madyar added that if, with the mediation of the United States, a realistic draft peace agreement appeared, to which Ukraine would agree, then the Hungarian leader would be worth calling the illegitimate President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin or “sitting on a military transport aircraft and convincing the Russian dictator at least read it.”

In October 2024, the results of the hundredthold were published, according to which the opposition party of Tisa was ahead of the Party of the Prime Minister of Hungarian Viktor Orban Fides. Support of Tisa was 24%, and Fides – 23% of the total population.
Bloomberg wrote on June 18, 2025 that Orban could lose power due to the rapid growth of the support of the opposition party “Tisa”.
According to the sociological survey, which conducted the Median Institute and published on the HVG news website on June 18, the new opposition force not only bypassed the leading party “Fides”, but also gained a significant advantage – about 15%, the article said. 51% of voters are ready to vote for the TISA party, while Fides supports 36%. For comparison, in March the same sociological group recorded a nine percent gap, journalists added.
