Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan said on TVR on Tuesday evening that “all the decisions” of the current government and the coalition were made “by mutual agreement” even though “it is true that a government will always be identified mainly with the person of the prime minister”.
Constantly targeted by PSD criticism, Ilie Bolojan was asked if it bothers him that he is criticized by some of the partners in the coalition and even by some voices in the party.
“Think that all the decisions that were taken by this government and the coalition were taken together. All things were agreed upon by mutual consent. It is true that a government will always be identified mainly with the person of the prime minister,” Bolojan replied.
The prime minister said that he is not running away from the responsibilities he has assumed.
“However, what seems right to me, not for me as a person, but for our country, is that in order to progress, to shorten this whole period, a minimum of solidarity and a minimum of responsibility for our country is needed, and also predictability and stability are needed”, added Ilie Bolojan.
He said that the country's “problems” exist “regardless of who is the prime minister of Romania, Bolojan or someone else”.
“They cannot be solved by posts, neither on Facebook, nor on TikTok, nor by news on sources, but must be solved by measures that ensure balances, that put the economy on a real basis and that, indeed, create opportunities for the family and for the young people in Romania”, emphasized Ilie Bolojan.
