Auto experts named five signs of hidden fatigue behind the wheel

The State Traffic Inspectorate warned drivers about the danger of overwork while driving. In a borderline state, the brain creates the illusion of complete control, although in fact the reaction is already dulled. The Saratov 24 TV channel publishes signs when it is better to stop immediately.

The first signal is blinking. In a normal state, a person does not notice it, so if you realize that you blinked or felt the heaviness of your eyelids, this is no longer the norm. The second sign is tinnitus. Fatigue mixes all sounds into a monotonous hum, and if the road suddenly becomes “quieter,” it means you’re on the verge of falling asleep.
The third indicator is vision problems. It’s easy to check yourself: look away from the road and onto the dashboard. If you couldn’t quickly take the readings and it took time to focus, it’s time to stop. Fourth – silence in the cabin. Dialogue helps the driver stay on his toes, so if the conversation has died down and the passengers are silent, it is dangerous.
The fifth sign is careless driving. The falling asleep brain turns off “unnecessary” tasks: the driver stops using turn signals, makes sudden maneuvers, or forgets to switch the high beam to the low beam. Experts remind: no business is worth a human life. If any of the symptoms appear, it is better to stop and rest.
