Another massive attack on Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelensky's strong appeal

The Russians carried out a massive attack in many regions of Ukraine at night. According to the “Ukraińska Pravda” website, a 68-year-old woman was killed and six other people were injured in the attack on the Sumy Oblast. Three people were injured in Odessa.

The attack targeted urban and energy infrastructure facilities, and private buildings were also destroyed. On Tuesday morning, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on Russian actions.

“Rescue and recovery operations are underway in many of our regions following a massive Russian attack. This was a combined attack, deliberately planned to cause as much damage as possible to our energy sector. Nearly 400 drones and 29 missiles of various types, including ballistic ones, were used. A significant number of them were shot down, but unfortunately some of them hit the target,” Zelensky wrote on the X website.

In Odessa, tens of thousands of people remain without heating and water after a drone attack. All necessary services are working to provide help. A total of 12 regions were attacked and unfortunately nine people were injured, including children. More than ten residential buildings and railway infrastructure were damaged,” Zelensky adds.

The President of Ukraine emphasized the need for partners to engage and put pressure on Russia.

“Partners must respond to all these attacks on human life. Russia must be held accountable for its aggression. Our diplomacy will be more effective if it is based on justice and force. Strength of pressure on the Russian Federation, pressure of sanctions and constant, rapid support for the Ukrainian army and our air defense. For peace to be true and just, action must be directed against the only source of this aggression, because it is Moscow that continues its killings, mass attacks and assaults,” he stressed.
