Starting from Tuesday morning, the weather will cool in the Capital and snow and blizzard are forecast. Starting tomorrow, Bucharest will be under a yellow code warning of bad weather.
According to the special forecast of ANM, from Monday, from 10:00 a.m. until Tuesday, at 8:00 a.m., the sky will be more cloudy, and the wind will blow weak and moderate. The maximum temperature will be around 7 degrees, and the minimum will be -2…0 degrees.
Starting from Tuesday morning, the weather will cool down in the Capital. The sky will be cloudy and there will be mixed precipitation – rain, sleet and snow. Snowfall will prevail in the evening and at night and an average of 8…15 cm of snow will fall. The accumulated water quantities will be 15…25 l/m2. The wind will increase with gusts of 50…70 km/h, there will be a blizzard and the visibility will be reduced below 100 m. The maximum temperature will be 2-3 degrees, and the minimum will be around -1 degree.
Between Wednesday, February 18, at 8:00 a.m., and Thursday, February 19, at 10:00 a.m., in Bucharest the sky will be variable, with clouds in the first hours, when it will snow (1…3 cm). The wind will generally blow moderately (gusts of 45…55 km/h), blowing the snow. The maximum temperature will be around 2 degrees, and the minimum will be -4…-3 degrees.
Between February 16, 10:00 a.m. and February 19, 10:00 a.m., the Capital will be under the influence of a meteorological information message aimed at cooling the weather, precipitation generally moderate in quantity, wind intensification and blizzard.
According to the ANM, between February 17, 10:00 a.m. and February 18, 2:00 p.m., the Capital will be under a yellow code warning for quantitatively significant precipitation, snow cover and blizzard.
