Former president of the club Nottingham ForestFawaz Al-Hasawi (57 years old), was the victim of an armed robbery at his home in London, being stabbed in the neck and hands by the criminals.
The former Nottingham Forest chairman's luxury home, valued at £10 million and located in the Mayfair area of central London, was targeted by burglars.

While Al-Hasawi was sleeping, the criminals entered his room. In an attempt to fight back, he suffered knife wounds to his neck and hands. For now, it remains unclear whether the thieves managed to steal valuables from the property, according to The Sun.
He is known to be a collector of expensive watches, and this may have piqued the robbers' interest. Although the Mayfair area is considered one of the safest areas of London, many robberies have recently taken place in this neighborhood, precisely because many millionaires, considered easy targets, live there.
The businessman's lawyers appealed to the Metropolitan Police for more details about the attack, stressing that many citizens in the Arabian Gulf fear similar incidents. Law enforcement announced that the Kuwaiti tycoon's injuries were not life-threatening and did not cause permanent damage.

Al-Hasawi bought Forest from Nigel Doughty in 2012 and remained in charge of the club for five years before selling to current owner Evangelos Marinakis in May 2017.
The period in which he was in charge of the “foresters” was not the best, with Nottingham Forest playing in the lower leagues.
