Ioan Varga, the boss from CFR Clujhad a harsh message for Daniel Pancu, the coach who announced his departure from Transylvania on Friday evening.
After the match with FC Arges, score 1-1, the last of this season, Daniel Pancu revealed that he no longer continues in Gruia, although he was still wanted, and his contract was extended after qualification in the Conference League.
Ioan Varga, virulent to Daniel Pancu: “His behavior leaves much to be desired”
The financier of Transylvania, in a reaction to Gazeta Sporturilor, gave Daniel Pancu a hard contract, showing his dissatisfaction with the statements made by him.
“I thank Pancu for everything he has done, but I am sorry that his behavior leaves something to be desired. I expected more respect from him, which we gave him.
I don't know if he feels it or not, but I thank him for everything he has done. And I wish him success wherever he goes. May he be healthy and may God help him. We have our way.
We will make an even stronger team. I congratulate the boys and thank them for staying strong, giving their best, even when it was difficult. Next season will be much better and I will reward them to show my gratitude.
Returning to Pancu, the fact that he speaks so badly of us and our club means that he is a very important person and that he has a CV to be praised. He probably won the Champions League or the title with some team. Or showed any performance with any team.
He finished with CFR Cluj in 3rd place, but that doesn't mean he won anything. I don't understand where the malice towards the club comes from. If he wants Champions League conditions, he must have a Champions League school. But be healthy.
We will go ahead. We will not cry for him. He has achieved something remarkable just with my team and for that the boys and everyone at the club deserve more credit. To whom I thank again and I can't wait for the new season”, declared Ioan Varga for GSP.ro.

Daniel Pancu leaves CFR Cluj
There's a very good chance it was my last match. Many conditions are met for me, in fact absolutely all of them, elsewhere. There are problems here, even if people insist that results have been achieved in the past under similar conditions. This cannot be possible much longer.
If I had not come to CFR then, the club would probably have been in a very difficult situation. Coach Pancu goes to a place where he doesn't make half an hour by bus and half an hour back to training. It goes where wages are paid by the hour and by the minute and the practice courts are billiards and have grass heating.
Now you judge too. It won't work under such conditions, it's an opinion, but we'll see. There are 4-5-6 teams that have much better conditions, you will see that the difference will be made.
I haven't officially left anything behind yet, but with the players I've developed a relationship… If they've come to thank me for football, it means they're enjoying training. Thank you all for the love shown. In order to develop, you don't have to become a prisoner of where you are.
I masked, but I haven't felt good in this environment for a month. I had disgruntled players to coach, but they had characters of heroes. Our conditions compared to play-off teams and FCSB are inferior. I can't develop in these conditions, I better take my dog and go to the forest alone.
