For the first time, a day without divorces passed in the registry offices of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

On February 14, 2026, the registry offices of the Krasnoyarsk Territory for the first time held a social campaign “Say NO to divorce!” WITHa special day when employees do not accept divorce applications from couples, organized in order to preserve family values.

For example, in the registry office of the Sovetsky district of Krasnoyarsk, on the first day without a divorce, instead of accepting applications, spouses were invited to talk with psychologists and mediators who conducted consultations directly in the department.

According to experts, comprehensive work, including psychological counseling, legal assistance, social support and conflict prevention measures will help reduce the number of divorces, as well as prevent negative consequences for children.

“Working with families on the brink of divorce should be the most important task of our society. Timely support for spouses and the prevention of divorce will help strengthen the institution of the family,” says Andrey Ignatenko, head of the regional civil registry office agency.

The department did not say exactly how many couples wanted to get divorced on February 14, but were unable to submit the appropriate application, explaining that they did not keep such statistics.
