Former international great Ilie Dumitrescu praised the moves made by Cristian Chivu, Inter's coach, in the derby with Juventus, score 3-2.

Chivu won the first big derby in Italy on Inter's bench. The victory came after the goal scored by Zielinski in the 90th minute. The Pole reinvented by Chivu scored with a left-footed shot from outside the box.

Pio Esposito, the 20-year-old striker promoted by Chivu to Inter's first team, also scored for Inter. Cambiasso, the Juventus defender, scored an own goal, this being the first success for Cristian's team.

Ilie Dumitrescu: “Chivu's reaction was excellent”

Ilie Dumitrescu praised the change made by Chivu in the 66th minute. Inter's coach took out Luis Henrique, a defender, and put in Pio Esposito, a striker. Thus, with an extra man, the Nerazzurri forced 3 “tops”, Lautaro, Thuram and Esposito.

“Chivu's reaction was excellent, in the 66th minute he abandons the 3-back system, brings in Esposito, with Thuram on the flank. Dimarco is one of the best players, he came inspired with the cross to Esposito's goal.

Cristi makes another inspired move, puts Bonny in Thuram's place, post by post. Zielinski tried many times and it worked. He has personality. He tried hard, although he had options to pass. He was trying to shoot, and in the end he succeeded”, said Ilie Dumitrescu, on “Fotbal European”, from Digi Sport.
