Iran launched Chamran-1 research satellite into orbit
The device was launched using the Ghaem-100 launch vehicle. The satellite's primary mission is to test software and hardware to validate orbital maneuvering technology.
The device, developed by several Iranian companies, was launched by the aerospace forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
