Did Jeffrey Epstein have a secret son with his Belarusian girlfriend, 35 years his junior? The woman could inherit the fortune of the controversial financier

Hundreds of young women passed through Jeffrey Epstein's dark universe, but very few could say they were his official “friends.”

The name that has remained in the public memory is, of course, that of Ghislaine Maxwell – the former British socialite, sentenced to 20 years in prison for child trafficking after a personal and financial partnership that lasted more than a decade.

However, much less known is the woman who stayed by his side for the last ten years of his life: Karina Șuliak, a young woman from Belarus, a dentist, more than 35 years younger than him, and who – according to recent documents – was designated to inherit most of his fortune, writes the Daily Mail.

Last conversation before death

In August 2019, Epstein was found hanged in his cell at New York's Metropolitan Correctional Center, where he was awaiting trial for sex trafficking. The official inquest concluded it was suicide, but conspiracy theories continue to this day.

According to relatives, Karina would have been one of the last people to talk to him on the phone. She later stated that he did not appear suicidal at all.

Just two days before his death at age 66, Epstein signed his will. Among the beneficiaries: his brother, the accountant, the lawyer, the personal pilot – and Maxwell, to whom $10 million was intended. But the “lion's share” belonged to Karina.

Wealth: ranch, villas and exotic islands

At the time of his death, Epstein's fortune was estimated to be around £330 million, although that figure has since fallen significantly due to fees and compensation awarded to victims.

Among the properties covered in the will were:

– Zorro Ranch in New Mexico;

-A luxury apartment in the center of Paris;

-His controversial villa in New York;

-The domain of Palm Beach, Florida;

-Two islands in the US Virgin Islands, later sold for 44 million pounds.

However, a big question mark remains: how much of this wealth is left and what will eventually reach the young Belarusian?

A love story… or addiction?

The relationship between Epstein and Karina would have started in 2010, after an exchange of emails. She was 20 years old. He already had a conviction for sex crimes and was under house arrest in Miami.

Documents published by the US Department of Justice reveal messages in which the young woman declared her unconditional love: “I love you! You are the purest of all men,” she wrote to him in 2012.

Jealousies and tensions were hidden behind the syrupy statements. Epstein warned her that “there will always be women around,” a warning that would become a constant source of conflict.

Green Card, studies and generous donations

The relationship also came with concrete benefits for Karina. Epstein allegedly facilitated the acquisition of permanent residency in the US, including through a formal marriage to an American citizen, Jennifer Kalin.

He also supported her admission to Columbia University's Teachers College after the university reportedly received a $100,000 donation. She later became an American citizen and began using the title “Dr. Shuliak.”

Luxury life and family in Minsk

While living in New York, Karina developed expensive tastes: shopping sessions costing tens of thousands of dollars, exclusive restaurants, business class flights to Tokyo and London.

And his parents in Minsk would have benefited indirectly. His mother would have been operated on for breast cancer at the famous Mount Sinai hospital in New York, an intervention paid for by Epstein.

The mystery of the child

An even more disturbing element appears in an email attributed to Sarah Ferguson, in which she congratulates Epstein on the birth of a boy. There is no official confirmation of the existence of a child, and Epstein's brother categorically denies it.

If such a son existed, he would be a teenager today – and, in theory, could have a claim on the fortune.

Where is Karina today?

After Epstein's arrest on July 6, 2019, Karina's life would have come to an abrupt halt. Today, she is rarely seen in public and is said to live in a property owned by the financier's brother.

Those close to him say that he is “living in the past and waiting for the execution of the will.” She has enough resources for now, but her financial future remains uncertain.
