Barack Obama asked about the existence of aliens. “They are real”

Obama was asked during an interview with podcast author Bryan Tyler Cohen. When asked if aliens from outer space really exist, he replied:
They are real, but I haven't seen them and they are not being held at (…) Area 51 — he said, referring to a military base in Nevada where, according to a popular conspiracy theory, corpses of extraterrestrial beings are stored.

There is no underground facility unless there is some gigantic conspiracy that they have hidden from the President of the United States – he added.

Americans investigate unexplained phenomena

The topic of UFOs and contacts with extraterrestrial beings has been increasingly the subject of public debate in the USA and research by government institutions in recent years. The Pentagon has established a special team (AARO) to investigate cases of unexplained phenomena. NASA also established its own team, and several hearings on this topic were held before the House of Representatives committee.

In the first one, former AARO member and former military intelligence officer, David Grusch, said, among other things, that the US authorities have been hiding contacts with extraterrestrials for decades and have been conducting a special program to search for wrecks of alien vehicles. His former boss Sean Kirkpatrick contradicted his wordsand previous AARO reports stated that there was no evidence that extraterrestrial technologies were behind the phenomena being investigated.
