Every summer resident dreams of strong, healthy seedlings that will grow quickly and delight with their development. However, often the sprouts turn out to be too thin and elongated, which makes their further growth difficult.
An experienced gardener, author of the channel “At Grandfather Egor’s Dacha” (18), shared the secret of how to make seedlings strong and resilient from the first days – using monopotassium phosphate. This fertilizer contains about 33% potassium and 50% phosphorus, two key elements for strong and healthy seedlings.
To prepare the fertilizer, you need to dissolve a small pinch in 1 liter of water at room temperature. The first fertilizing is carried out at the root, when the seedlings have their first true leaf. The following feedings are repeated every two weeks.
In addition, the fertilizer can be used as a leaf spray. To do this, dissolve monopotassium phosphate in a 1:1 ratio with clean water and spray the seedlings in the morning or evening. This method helps strengthen plants and stimulate their growth.
Using monopotassium phosphate, your seedlings will become strong, healthy and ready for further growth in your area.
