Doctor from Iasi, sent to court after taking bribes of 100 lei and 200 lei. And the two patients will be tried for bribery

Cardiologist Ovidiu Mitu from the “St. Spiridon” Hospital in Iasi was sent to court by prosecutors, being accused of taking bribes from two patients, 200 lei and 100 lei, respectively. Also, the two patients were sent to court for bribery.
The Prosecutor's Office attached to the Iaşi Court announced on Friday the completion of the investigation in the case involving cardiologist Ovidiu Mitu from the “St. Spiridon” Hospital in Iaşi, writes News.ro.
The doctor Ovidiu Mitu was sent to court for bribery, he was accused of taking money from two patients, respectively 200 lei and 100 lei.
The doctor received the money at the end of 2022, in his office in the premises of the Iesian hospital.
The case will be tried at the Iasi Court.
In the same case, the cardiologist Ovidiu Tesloianu, also from the “Saint Spiridon” Hospital in Iasi, was also sent to court, accused of fitting patients with cardiac medical devices taken from deceased people.
