A 19-year-old girl from Zelenogorsk faces up to 3 years in prison for dropperting

Zelenogorsk police opened a criminal case against a girl suspected of droppering.
As the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnoyarsk Territory said, a 19-year-old girl responded to an advertisement about earning money in one of the instant messengers and transferred her personal data. At the direction of her curators, she accepted money onto a bank card and transferred it to the specified accounts for a percentage of the transactions.
In one day, about 80 thousand rubles passed through her card, the reward was 2 thousand rubles. After completing the tasks, communication with the “employers” ceased.
One of the victims, a resident of Nizhny Tagil, transferred 42 thousand rubles for a portable speaker on an advertisement site, but did not receive the goods. It was established that the money went to the suspect’s account and was transferred to the attackers. Police are identifying the remaining victims.
The investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the ZATO city of Zelenogorsk opened a criminal case under Part 4 of Art. 187 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal circulation of payment funds.” The sanction of the article provides for up to three years of imprisonment. The suspect's involvement in other episodes of fraud is being verified.
