Yields on Polish 10-year treasury bonds are less than 5 percent; this is the lowest in two years – the Minister of Finance and Economy, Andrzej Domański, announced on Thursday on the X platform. In his opinion, investors appreciate stable economic policy, dynamic growth and falling inflation.

On Thursday, yields on 10-year bonds fell below the 5% level. According to the chief economist of Bank Pocztowy, Monika Kurtek, despite the problems of public finances, investors still perceive our assets as safe and the demand for bonds, including long-term ones, is growing.
– Investors look globally, compare debt to GDP, and also compare us to other European countries. We are in quite a decent position in this regard, even compared to the euro zone countries. The search for assets perceived as attractive is ongoing, and Poland benefits from this – an economist from Bank Pocztowy told PAP Biznes.
She emphasized that on Friday there may be a slight rebound in the decline in the yield of Polish treasury securities.
In February 2024, the yield on Polish 10-year bonds was approximately 5.3%, while in February last year it was approximately 5.7%.
On Thursday, the yield on Hungarian 10-year bonds was approximately 6.62 percent, and the yield on Czech bonds was approximately 4.27 percent. (PAP)
