From January, mBank's offer will include Individual Pension Accounts run in the form of investment products – funds or ETFs. Regular IKE in the form of a savings account will disappear from the offer. “The withdrawal of the savings IKE is an element of organizing the offer and adapting it to the current product strategy of mBank. We focus on solutions that are best suited to the current needs of customers. This decision does not affect the conditions for maintaining existing accounts – customers retain all their existing rights and access to their funds,” mBank's press office reported.

IKE in the form of a savings account resembles a regular savings account to which we can deposit funds. Interest is capitalized monthly. The current rate is 3.62 percent. on an annual basis. According to the price list, it should be no less than 80%. WIBOR 1M rates. The WIBOR 1M rate is taken from the last business day of the previous calendar month.

Funds accumulated in the account and withdrawn after reaching retirement age will be exempt from 19% tax, i.e. the so-called Belka tax. The condition is to make payments for at least 5 years. If we decide to withdraw earlier, the bank will charge interest but will withhold tax.
