Péter Magyar expects the publication of an intimate recording. New comment

In a video published on Thursday, Magyar talked about the events of August 2, 2024, when the Tisza party organized a summer party for its supporters. Evelin Vogel also participated in the meeting. Magyar noted that at that time they were no longer a couple, but he accepted Vogel's invitation to a private meeting, during which – as he admitted – he fell under her spell.
How does Péter Magyar comment on the announcement of the recording's publication?
What happened on August 2, 2024?
What were the surrounding situations during the private meeting between Magyar and Vogel?
Why does Magyar think the video is intended to intimidate him?
The politician explained that he and Evelin Vogel went to the apartment that appeared in the published photo. There were also other people present in the premises. Magyar noticed alcohol and a drug-like substance on the table, but assured that he had not taken any drugs. Then, as he reported, he and Vogel spent the night in one of the rooms and the next day they ate dinner together. Magyar emphasized that he had not committed any prohibited acts and had a clear conscience.
The politician noted that he did not know how the recordings and photos, which he claimed were illegally recorded using special services equipment, could be used. He also pointed out that the recording should be published in its entirety to avoid manipulation.
Response to government actions
Magyar stated that the publication of the recording was intended to deprive him of his last peaceful moments with his sons before his planned trip around the country. According to him, the next few days will be extremely difficult and stressful for his children. He also added that he would not allow himself to be intimidated or blackmailed using methods that he compared to the actions of the Russian secret services.
The leader of Tisza assured that he has never used drugs and is ready to undergo drug tests at any time. He emphasized that he did not intend to allow public opinion to be manipulated and attention diverted from the country's real problems.
