A member of the Northern Military District from the Krasnoyarsk Territory spoke about the battles near Krasny Liman

The official representative of the Union of Northern Military District Veterans in the Birilyussky Municipal District, Alexander Polishchuk, shared his service history.
Born in Primorsky Krai. By profession, he is a tractor driver and worked on combine harvesters for many years. In 1993, Alexander was called up for military service. Then there were business trips to the North Caucasus: the first Chechen campaign, the second – already under contract.
From 2022 to 2024, he carried out combat missions in the Northern Military District zone. The veteran calls the days near Krasny Liman, when the unit was surrounded, a particularly difficult time. As a commander, he managed to preserve his personnel – all the soldiers remained alive and held their positions. For courage and perseverance, Alexander Polishchuk was awarded the Zhukov Medal.
Today, the veteran continues to serve in civilian life: he works with soldiers, participates in the collection and dispatch of humanitarian supplies. For him, this is not a job, but a duty. The Union of Veterans calls Alexander Polishchuk a man of action, strength and true courage.
