Alexandru Baluta (32 years old), the former right winger from FCSB, made his debut for Boluspor, the team that registered him this winter. It was the first match this year for the double champion of Romania.
His new team beat Hatayspor 3-1 at home in the 25th round of the Turkish second league. Băluţă he started the match from the substitute position and was sent on the field in the 68th minute, in place of Rasheed Akanbi.

Baluță signed with the new team as a free agent. He had an unsuccessful stint in MLS at Los Angeles FC and has now returned to Europe to force promotion to the Turkish top flight.
After only three months and 14 minutes in the jersey of the MLS team, Băluță became free of contract again.
Boluspor opened the scoreboard right before the break, through Baris Alici (44'). And he solved the equation right from the start of the second half.
The “double” of the midfielder Dogan Davas in the 48th and 58th minutes (penalty) decided the fate of the game. It was the moment when coach Suat Kaya, the coach of Boluspor, decided to introduce Băluță into the field (68').
He managed 2/2 dribbles, touched the ball 16 times and completed 10/11 passes. Following this result, Boluspor climbed to 7th place, with 38 points after 25 stages.
The first two places are promoted to the first league, while the 3rd-7th places compete in one or more promotion play-offs. For Boluspor, the away duel with Umraniyespor follows on February 17.
Quoted at 500,000 euros by Transfermarkt, Băluță also played for teams such as Viitorul, Puskas Akademia, Slavia Praga or Slovan Liberec throughout his career.
