Gheorghe Tadici (73 years old), the coach of HC Zalău, commented on the severe defeat suffered by the champion CSM Bucharest, score 20-39in a match from the 10th stage of the Flower League.

Gheorghe Tadici, after the 20-39 defeat against CSM Bucharest: “The difference in value is absolutely logical”
The 73-year-old technician offered statements after losing decisively to the CSM champion:
“It's a normal result, given the huge difference in squads and budgets between the two teams. We had six debutants in the National League, and this was already the tenth match for them.
The difference could be even bigger, but our goalkeepers caught only 3-4 balls, while on the other side there were no less than 12 one-on-one situations missed or saved by the CSM goalkeepers. That's why they are on the 1st place, and we are on the 11th”, explained Tadici.
Long-term objective at Zalău: “This is our main objective”
The coach emphasized that the club's objective is not an immediate one, but to build a competitive team for the future.
“We have a group of young players, some with certain qualities, but the lack of experience does not allow them to show them fully, especially in a match like this. The 2025-2026 season is one where I try to raise these 18-20 year old players for the next championship. That is our main objective.”
Tadici also spoke about the club's financial difficulties:
“It is very difficult, given the budget, to support three teams: junior 3, junior 1 and the senior team. The difference in value is absolutely logical.”
Regarding possible transfers, the coach was categorical:
“We are at the limit. This is the first time we are playing with 16 players on the referee report. So far we have played with 15, including three goalkeepers and the debutant players. There is no problem, everything is normal.”
