The jury chose the 10 songs that will enter the final of the National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, and on Sunday the 11th finalist will be announced, based on a wild card from the public.

The 10 songs from the final were chosen after three days of auditions, according to Radio Rador Romania.

Alejandro Zandes & Emil Rengle – “Bailando Solo”

Alexandra Căpitănescu – “Choke Me”

Edward Maya x LavBbe x Costi – “Everybody Needs Somebody”

Emy Alupei – “Tili Bom”

HVNDS – “HVNDS – MISS”

Monica Odagiu – “Window for a Blind Man”

Olivia Addams – “Crocodile”

Robert Lukian – “Fire to the lies”

Vanu – “Therapy Enemy”

Yguana – “Happy Birthday”

The fans will choose the 11th song from the national final

The five songs that placed 11-15 in the auditions can still qualify for the finals through a separate procedure called “Public Wild Card”. Thus, the fans will choose the 11th song that will enter the national final on March 4.

Eurovision 2026 will take place in May

The 2026 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Vienna – on 12 and 14 May, the semi-finals, and the grand final on 16 May. The representative of our country will perform in the first part of the second semi-final on May 14.

Along with Romania, 34 other countries entered the competition: Albania, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and Great Britain.
