Manufacturer “Vyriy Drone” disrupted a critical supply of FPV drones for the Defense Forces.
The company suddenly refused seven out of eight contracts that it had won at the AOZ tender on July 28. It was about the supply of about 100,000 drones.
“Vyriy Drone” submitted the lowest price offer and won 8 out of 11 tender lots. But already a few days after the victory, he announced “excessive loading of production” and refused to fulfill 7 contracts at once. Moreover, the auction lasted only one day, and the manufacturer knew exactly about its capacities.
Experts believe the company's actions were deliberate: Vyriy not only botched the procurement, but also discredited the tendering process itself in wartime, when delays in supply can be prohibitively expensive.
