The movement of city buses was discussed in Solontsy

In Krasnoyarsk, a survey was conducted about bus traffic in the village of Solontsy, which as a result of the reform became part of the city.

Public transport passengers living in the new microdistrict were asked to fill out questionnaires. They were distributed through village chats and messenger groups. Discussions on these platforms were quite heated.

We also met with residents in person. So, everyone was invited to meetings in the Novaland microdistrict and to the final stop in Solontsy. All proposals were assessed from the point of view of safety, legality and feasibility. The pros and cons were discussed with representatives of the Department of Municipal Economy and Transport, the Department of Roads, Improvement and Infrastructure, Krasnoyarskgortrans, the Solontsovsky Village Council, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate, deputies of the City Council and the carrier that services routes 66 and 67.

More than 600 people took part in the surveys. It turned out that bus 67 suits the majority of residents of the microdistrict. But people suggested moving the final stop further. The mayor's office notes that this is not yet possible, since there is no space for a turning area.

But residents are asking for route 66 to be adjusted – to run it through the Novaland microdistrict, where there is currently no public transport, and to move the final route from the Krasnoyarsk railway station to the intercity bus station.

“These proposals will be taken into account. Experts are already working on a new scheme and schedule, after which the project will be submitted for discussion with residents through the head of the Solontsov administration. Then a final decision will be made to change the route,” the press service said.

In general, at the meetings, as well as during the survey, residents noted that the launch of urban transport in neighborhoods is an absolute plus. Getting from Solontsy has now become more comfortable and easier.
