I don’t reserve a table – I cook at home: the perfect dinner for February 14th in 12 minutes, and the aroma spreads throughout the house

Turkey or chicken fillet is the perfect choice for a Valentine's Day dinner: it's tender, light, but still looks delicious. And so that the dish is not bland and is remembered for a long time, a marinade with honey, rosemary and orange zest is enough. It's ready faster than you can light the candles, and the aroma creates the atmosphere of a real holiday.

Ingredients (for 2 servings):

Turkey fillet or chicken fillet – 400 g
Honey – 1 tbsp. spoon
Dijon mustard – 1 tbsp. spoon
Zest of half an orange or lemon
Fresh rosemary – 1 sprig
Garlic – 1 clove
Olive oil – 1 tbsp. spoon
Salt, black pepper – to taste

How to cook:

  • Rinse the fillet and dry with a paper towel.
  • Cut into two large medallions.
  • In a bowl, mix honey, mustard, minced garlic, zest, finely chopped rosemary, olive oil, salt and pepper.
  • Dip the fillets in the marinade, coating all sides evenly.
  • Leave for 7-10 minutes.
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
  • Place the fillet and fry for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Serve on warm plates, garnished with a sprig of rosemary and an orange slice. Ideal with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes or arugula with Parmesan cheese.

This dinner is tender on the inside, flavorful on the outside, with a subtle sweet-spicy note.

Bon appetit and have a wonderful February 14th!
