

The agency notes that Putin’s order states that Russians in the reserves will undergo military training in the armed forces, the National Guard, rescue military units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, “state security agencies and federal security service agencies.”
Meduza points out that two of the four points of the decree are classified; it states that they are “for official use.”
Referring to the regulations on holding military training in the Russian Federation, the publication writes that the number of people called up from the reserves is established by the President of the Russian Federation on the proposal of the government “taking into account the needs of the army.”
The duration of military training allegedly cannot exceed two months.

Putin’s decree appeared against the background of the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine, during which the losses of the Russian occupiers are estimated at approximately a thousand people per day.
