— Despite the record-breaking year, as usual in the first quarter, there are still many unsold cars from the previous year in car yards, with large discounts, available immediately. The dealers' trick lowered prices
According to Chojnacki, such a large number of “overdue” cars was also influenced by a trick popular among dealers. The idea is to get the largest annual bonus possible.
— Car dealers of some brands sometimes decide to register the car in their own name. They do this when the car has been parked on the lot for too long, which applies to older models, or when they want to show such a vehicle in the sales statistics. We faced such a situation in the fourth quarter, when, at the end of a very good year, dealers did everything they could to show the best possible results and thus secure record bonuses from importers for sales made in the quarter and throughout the year – says the vice-president of Superauto.pl.

The premium segment is getting cheaper the most
According to Chojnacki, the biggest discounts can be “hunted” by targeting the premium segment. Following the increased demand for more expensive cars, price lists are now noticeably more realistic.
— By far the greatest discounts are offered by premium brands, which, unlike the entire market, have had a rather difficult year behind them, showing that growth at a strongly double-digit rate is unsustainable in the long run. This is due to the creation of an unfavorable price gap for premium cars compared to the mass segment, which affected sales results in 2025, says Bartosz Chojnacki.
Superauto.pl analysts have prepared a list of sale offers for the 2025 model year. In the case of the premium segment, the average discount amounted to PLN 77.3 thousand.
