The mayor of Krasnoyarsk chose a new first deputy

Sergei Vereshchagin will become the new first deputy mayor of Krasnoyarsk Andrei Popeto, former boss capital repair fund and the regional administration of the Federal Penitentiary Service. The publication reports this gornovosti.ru.

Now the mayor's office, together with deputies of the City Council, is discussing a new structure of the administration. In particular, it is determined which units will be subordinate to the first deputy heads of the city.

Andrey Popeto graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering with a degree in industrial and civil engineering, and later received additional education in the field of commerce and law.

He worked for most of his career – more than 25 years – in the FSIN system, where he rose from senior inspector to head of the main department of the FSIN of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Since 2023, he has supervised the work of the regional capital repair fund.
