The Aramis Invest company from Baia Mare, the largest Romanian manufacturer and exporter of furniture, a key supplier of the giant IKEA, is facing economic problems.
The largest producer in Maramureș, with the largest turnover, and the largest employer in the county, reduces its working hours to 4 days/week, from Monday to Thursday inclusive. The management's decision was caused by the decrease in orders from the company's main beneficiary, the Ikea holding company, as well as the stored production surplus.
