After the revision of the maximum prices for electricity from August 1, the market remained stable. No price shock was recorded during peak hours, says Daria Orlova, an analyst at ExPro Consulting.
“The results of the first week of August did not show a significant jump in prices during the evening rush hour,” she emphasizes.
The change in price limits was necessary so that there would be no barriers for imports during the evening peak periods.
