In the Balakhtinsko-Novoselovsky district, police officers are establishing the circumstances of an accident with two deaths. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region spoke about this.
The accident occurred on February 7 at about 09:00 on the 252nd kilometer of the R-257 Yenisei highway. According to preliminary data, the 38-year-old driver of a Toyota Vitz lost control and collided with a Mitsubishi truck that was driving in the opposite direction. The truck was driven by a 39-year-old driver.
As a result of the accident, the driver and 39-year-old passenger of the car died on the spot before the ambulance arrived. The truck driver and his 44-year-old passenger were hospitalized with various injuries.
An investigative team is currently working at the scene of the incident.
