The University of Craiova responded harshly to Mititelu, after the Gazetă interview: “Citizen's speculations”

Thursday, The Timișoara Court of Appeal ruled in the trial for Science's track record, in which the public law club CS Universitatea Craiova, led by Pavel Badea, requested that the track record between 1948 and 1991 be recognized as his.

The court rejected their request, and Adrian Mititelu claimed victory, because in this scenario it is understandable that the record 1948-1991 belongs to the company that continued the football activity, i.e. FC U Craiovahis team, disaffiliated in 2011 and subsequently bankrupt.

After the verdict in the Court, Adrian Mititelu went further, and in an interview for GSP.ro he claimed that this decision could have wider consequences, in the process for the brand and in the one in which he requests compensation from the first league team, the club under public law, FRF and Craiova City Hall.

The University of Craiova responded harshly to Mititelu, after the interview in Gazeta: “The delusions of the citizen with over 500 lost lawsuits”

The club from the first league came with a harsh reply, in which it did not name Mititelu, but described him as “the citizen with more than 500 lost lawsuits”.

“To temper from the elucidations of the citizen with over 500 lawsuits lost to the assetwe are forced, even though we have much more important things to do, to return to the subject of the “Palmares of Science”:

1. In this process, it is excluded that the bankrupt club will ever win anything for the simple reason that the Timișoara process is a declaratory action by which the Craiova University Sports Club under public law asked the court to establish the existence of the track record in its patrimony.

Probably, the court found that it is not within its jurisdiction to judge such a request and rejected the action without this meaning that any of the companies in bankruptcy, insolvency, concordat or other similar legal situations have anything close to the “Science track record”.

2. This process did not have as its object the coat of arms or the historical name of Craiova University, these being won by the sports club under public law through a succession of decisions of the High Court of Cassation and Justice of Romania, final, executory and irrevocable.

There is not even an extraordinary avenue of appeal in these cases for the simple reason stated above, namely that none of the bankrupt or insolvent companies have any way of winning anything from the pending case. Beyond the fact that this last solution referred to by the citizen is subject to appeal to the High Court of Cassation and Justice.

3. We urge all journalists who still wish to take from the immortal stories presented by the citizen to contact the University of Craiova for additional clarifications.

4. As much as possible, stop being lied to and manipulated by a citizen who never built anything but only destroyed (bragging about it!) and which, let's not forget, until the moment when the Sports Club under public law cancels them, had the name and trademark registered to the natural person. Today, thankfully, they have returned to the community forever.

We reiterate the most important thing for us, those who love white and blue colors: Science is big and moving forward! Forza Science”, the University transmitted.

What Adrian Mititelu said:

You will see that very quickly, by the summer, the first spectacular changes will already occur, it is inevitable that at least two other decisions will appear that are guaranteed to stem from the one about the records.

Including the trial with the trademark, which we expect to return to the Bucharest Court, will turn 180 degrees. The lion logo is inextricably linked to the record, so I have no emotion that we will regain that one.

I will also force them to change their colors, plus I opened another lawsuit in the summer of 2025 related to the claim for damages. It will also be tried at the Bucharest Court, because we have moved to the responsible parties and the FRF, and we are currently waiting for the first court date to be granted.

Here, all the statements, including the amount Mititelu is demanding in court!
