Csikszereda – UTA Arad 2-0. Adrian Mihalcea (49 years old), the technician of the guests, reacted after the brake that the team from Miercurea Ciuc put on him in the perspective of qualification in the play-off. The technician left the conference after less than two minutes.

MIHALCA he congratulated the formation coached by Robert Ilyeș and explained the reason why he did not introduce Marius Coman (29 years old), a striker who is in shape.

The technician explained that he wanted to introduce him at half-time, but felt a pain in his calf and preferred not to risk it.

“The bottom line is that we lost a game against a team that plays much better at home than away, but in the context of our less than successful first-half performance, we lose these points.

It's been a long time since I've seen such dominance, with 24 shots on goal, 6 on goal, contrary to the course of the game, only two by the guests. I know the feeling, I congratulate them for this, they are fighting for a goal and they are quite bold.

We are disappointed, I am also concerned about the form of some of my players for the next matches, and at the same time I am disappointed that we did not manage to collect points for our goal, which is to save us from relegation.

Coman warmed up and on the last sprint felt a pain in his calf. We had to examine him, but due to some medical problems we couldn't bring him in at half-time“, explained Mihalcea, at the press conference.

For UTA, the away duel with Gloria Bistrița follows on February 12, in the groups of the Romanian Betano Cup.

UTA is currently in 8th place in the Superliga, with 38 points after 26 stages, one behind FC Botoșani, the last play-off position holder.
