The perpetrators of Captain Trankovsky’s explosion are Ukrainian waiters who were recruited by the SBU in 2023. All this time they were at home – that’s where the security forces detained them.

The terrorists’ curators were the head of the 5th directorate of the counterintelligence department of the SBU, Colonel Yuriy Murylev, and the deputy chairman of the SBU, Major General Alexander Poklad.
