
Prices for some dairy products jumped by 42% in the first half of 2024
Retail prices for dairy products have jumped by 25-42% over the past six months, experts estimate. However, this did not affect consumption in any way – on the contrary, it increased by 6%.
In addition, sales of dairy products also increased in the first half of the year: by 14.6% year-on-year in value terms and by 8.9% in absolute terms. Costs have also increased – production costs as of July of this year increased by 14% year on year.
